WHY DID THEY CANCEL FIREFLY?!

This is so literally my favorite show, now. The lyrical dialogue... god. I could go on for a long time but I'm 4 episodes in and I've never seen anything like this. Good holy god even as I type it gets better.

They canceled Firefly because it's *too* good. Why challenge your mind, both the audiance and network suits said, when you can watch reality TV and sleep the dreamless sleep of those without, well, dreams?
