what the....you go to the hospital voluntarily looking for treatment and they want to forcibly take you in because you are going to want to run away from and avoid treatment? Missing some essential logic centers there.

I hope you find the help you need even if it isn't with a medical "professional" because honey, if that man is indicative of professional behavior...*hugs* I wish I had an answer, I've only ever seen one mind doctor who was an utter cock-up and he was dedicated to helping folks deal with traumatic brain injuries, I just toted extra baggage he gave me an assist with. Don't know what to say or recommend beyond think outside of the box when you look for help the next time.
