I fucked up my leg. This is incredibly stupid because it was a charley horse (STUPIDEST NAME FOR A CRAMP EVER, FYI) yesterday and it didn't hurt much, and today, I can't walk very well. It lasted until after I'd sat on the floor (which, apparently, I've hit the age where that causes Problems) for 45 minutes while babysitting. It... it's not horrifically painful, it's just impossible to walk and hold it in a position where it doesn't hurt.

Crutches hurt. I tried. I end up tensing the leg as I hold it off the ground and that's just as bad as walking.

This is so stupidly STUPID.

OT and random, but, I'm glad Morgan Freeman is going to be okay.


Ooh! Fun story, to do with World of Warcraft. I started playing it when it was in beta, and I played from the second Phase of closed beta (level cap 39, Invisibility ROCKED, Undead spoke Common, you could MC portal trainers and learn Teleport: Stormwind as a Horde, etc.) to the release, etc. etc. When I started on Skywall realm, I made friends with someone when we were both in our teen levels and we made the newbie zone laugh so much everyone begged us to create a guild. We created Sacred Samophlange. My hunter Thelma ran to a far-away zone through many dangers to tame the only pink flamingo beast in the game, and thus, Louise was born.

Skywall was a blast, and when I finally quit playing for a while, Sacred Samophlange had grown into a true casual raiding guild that had WAY TOO MUCH FUN (rocket-boot pulling in Molten Core? BRING IT ON.), and apparently in my honor, they renamed the second-in-command position 'Flamingo Warden.' I went on to create pretty, pretty Blood Elves and have wayyyy too many high levels and love Horde side like woah, except that our flying mounts are fugly compared to Alliance's--weird colored wyvern-bat things versus pure white, golden, or jeweltoned gryphons? NO CONTEST.

So, I decided to go back to Skywall and mess around with my older characters. Know what's fun? Playing an alt in a guild where most of the players have yet to realize that you are the inspiration for a guild rank in a guild that's three frigging years old. Thelma's like, a legend, and all my alts' names are spelled with those same letters (Htalme, Mathel, Amleht, etc.). It's lame, I know, but it's FUN to make an impact and then reap the benefits of it years later... /gaming nerd.

I haven't been playing much, but it's still kind of fun. Plus, I mean... how many people have a capped out character with the same name as their LJ account? Or a hunter named Claudiajean and an owl pet named Westwing? YES I AM A DORK. Haha. Yes, I have a Darsy, too, but she's only 61, not 70...

I haven't forgotten about artword, btw. I signed up to dvd_commentary Superman Never Dealt With This Shit by amireal and I'm so excited! I'm also making headway on the ex-Big Bang of Doom, as well as fic ideas for the million other things I need to be doing. And the audiobooks! School starts in like, exactly two weeks and I'm babysitting for a friend from 7 AM - 3 PM this week and the next (yay getting up at 6:00 AM)... and I still haven't picked up my books/ID/parking pass yet.

Should I be panicking? It feels like I should be panicking. OH. And I finally turned off non-friend screening which was driving me batty. Sorry to everyone who felt unwelcome, if they... felt unwelcome. Or something.

*takes pain medicine that ISN'T WORKING ARGH and tries to do something productive*
