So, thanks to grammarwoman, I have bunches of videos from Shore Leave to splice together/trim and upload for the long-overdue recaps! I have a question I'm hoping you all can help me with, though.

David gave a few vague spoilers about upcoming episodes (they seemed vague to me, as someone already spoiled; ladycat777 or unamaga--did they seem more than vague? I know you two like to go unspoiled) of Season 5, and I wanted to be sure to think about how to address that in my recap of his Sunday Q&A. Also, I keep asking (and I KEEP FORGETTING OMG sorry) this, but can someone comment with the code one uses to encase text with a background color? Used to ensure that spoiler text to be highlighted remains spoiler text by choosing the same color for the background and the text. I'm probably not explaining that well AT ALL...

For sticking with me and filling out the poll and to make up for taking so long with the Jewel & David Q&A panels I have yet to recap, I have a video to share! This poll was posted on cupidsbow's journal and I've seen it on lavvyan's journal as well, and I think it's a really neat idea, and something I'd really like to know. The concept is that of seeing LJ usernames as a 'brand,' of sorts. Basically, we tended to expect certain types of stories from certain authors, and that expectation became part of the portmanteau of icon/name/fandom we associate with them.

So that made me curious--does darsynia have a brand? If so, what is it? I've added a twist to this to entice new f-listers to participate as well: for the genre and theme questions, I've added a 'what would you *like* to see' question. Please feel free to fill this out even if you've only read a few stories--I'm ravenously curious! Anonymous posting is on, screening is off.
