Life update
Apr. 11th, 2008 07:02 amSo, I have a math test today, and I'm actually looking forward to it--though, crap, I gotta remember to look up Cramer's Rule, because I fricking HATE that method, but it'll be on the test fo sho--because most of it is methodical long algebra problems, and I LOVE those. Mmmm, tasty 3 equations in 3 variables. Like logic problems but with MATH!
Right, anyway. Turns out I have like, one month left of this semester (where did all the time go?!); went to Spanish on Wednesday to see the date for the final up on the board, May 9th. /boggle. Won't have a 4.0 this semester, sadly, math kicked my butt, in that subtle way of butt-kicking that means I won't embarrass myself (I don't think, anyway), but I can't scratch my way back up to 90%.
I have
remix_redux to finish,
sticksandsnark to start restructure from the mess in my head, and of course I'm a bit behind on
sgabigbang due to a combination of nerves, a stupid amount of writing for a class, and life poking me with a stick. So, fun.
Life on the home front has been unbearably loving and schmoopy lately. We're usually really, really irreverent, but there have been a couple of times in the past week where G's been completely straight about things to the point where I just stare at him and go 'Holy crap, I get to have this, too?! On top of all the other awesome?!' Here's hoping he's still adorable when I tell him he's gotta be the one to clean out the pot of noodles in the fridge that's been there for almost two months. I really, really don't want to throw up, and wearing a plastic bag over my head probably won't work for as long as it'll take to clean out the... yeah well that'd be a TMI, probably.
Today's high is 76 and it's 65 outside right now, but in the Grand Pittsburgh 'oh, you thought the high was going to be in the afternoon like normal cities?!' Style, a cold front is going to move in and give me tasty thunderstorms right about when I'll be coming home from class. Which reminds me, G has my umbrella in his car, something I wouldn't have found out if I hadn't have been lazy and made him drive the last time we went out. He's all 'oh, yeah, your umbrella's in here.' This after I kept asking him if he'd seen it... bah.
Oh, and the meme thing is in the works from before, no worries--I'd had it all written up and organized in a textedit file, and then my computer ran software update and I stupidly said 'sure you can restart' and closed all the programs without looking. So, it's gone, and I have to rewrite it.

Note to self: remember to schedule a doctor's appointment today and pick up the prescription
