MASSIVE FAIL, AMAZON.

Was just reading unfunnybusiness on Journal Fen, and came across this post. Apparently, Amazon has decided to de-list all 'adult' books. However, their qualifications for 'adult' seem to be more geared toward 'LGBT,' 'feminist,' or similar, with heterosexual stuff remaining remarkably intact.

In fact, they've done such a 'good job' with this de-listing (which has now been google bombed--check out the search for amazon rank), that now the TOP SEARCH RESULT for 'homosexuality' returns A Parent's Guide to Preventing Homosexuality.

I pointed this out to G, and he said, "if that's their most popular book on the subject, I don't see why they'd alter their search algorithm so that doesn't show up...?" My response was kind of heated... "it IS the most popular book--NOW THAT THEY DE-LISTED ALL OTHER LGBT BOOKS!"

I think this would be an excellent time to vote with our feet, folks.

Eight Days of Happiness, Day 1

I think someone on my flist tagged everyone who wanted to do this, and since a ton of people have been doing it anyway, I'm going to do it without tagging (I am having trouble keeping track of who hasn't done it... blame baby brain).

DAY 1

~1~ The baby must LOVE EASTER. She has been moving pretty much non-stop all day starting at 5 AM. I don't think I will ever get tired of it, even though she tends to correct my posture with kicking my ribs when I lean to the right. *frown*

~2~ The US captain who had been taken hostage by Somali pirates was freed today.

~3~ [brutal honesty time!] I started this pregnancy at 224 pounds. I lost 8 pounds from morning sickness in the first four months. I now weigh 232! This is incredibly encouraging given the overweight-ness I started out with. And, because a lot of you have asked, I FINALLY (now that I finally have a belly to show off) have a belly picture. 32 weeks!
