Title: The Book
Summary: It was a simple object, really, to have caused so much change in the lives of so many, two in particular. Its purpose, however, was anything but ordinary. Hermione seeks solace in the Room of Requirement, hoping to escape the terrible price that the war wrought--but the Room serves to provide what you need, not what you *want*, which are sometimes two different things...
Pairing: Remus/Hermione, there might be some sub-pairings farther along
Rating: PG-13, might be higher later, if so I'll alter this one
Notes: I started this before JKR said in an interview that food was one of the 'can't conjure' rules of magic, so that's against canon, sorry. This chapter doesn't really have much other than Hermione in it, the pairing stuff comes along later. Also, though a subsequent chapter might fit along with one of my challenges, since this is all Hermione (and my challenges are all pairing/Remus related) in this chapter, I didn't feel like it would be appropriate yet.
