Recipe For Stress!

WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON:
1 husband with appendicitis having surgery at 6:30 AM Thursday (spent most of Wednesday afternoon/evening in the ER)
1 pregnant woman in her ninth month
1 final project due 8:00 AM Saturday (not started)


Yeah. He's fine--man has insane tolerance for pain; most of the hospital staff was impressed by his calmness--apparently this is usually extremely painful. He caught it early, though, and I honestly think he's more frustrated by the idea of having to take a week off of work post-surgery than he is about having to have it in the first place. That, and he's never been hospitalized for anything (except being born) before, so we don't know how he reacts to anesthetic, etc. I think he'll recover really quickly, though. He's really healthy and very good-natured about everything.

I'll post an update in the morning once I've heard how he's doing.

Oh my yes. I had appendicitis when I was a kid and it's pretty painful, but it sounds like he's coping okay! You guys'll be okay! You can do it! *HUG!*

Oh man! That is pretty stressfull. Try to take it slow yourself and take deep breaths. It won't do to go into labor early because you are panicked! Hope your hubby's surgery goes well.

And I'm sure if you email your prof and are like "So, I was going to start this project and then my husband was hospitalized for appendicitis..." s/he'll probably give you some kind of extension.
